Tony Onorato

MA, LPC, CCAC, ALPS

Tony Onorato is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the state of West Virginia and Sports Performance Consultant in private practice in Morgantown, WV.

Tony’s areas of expertise include trauma, depression, stress, anxiety, grief, addictions, mental performance enhancement and teambuilding. He takes the basic approach of helping clients learn to emphasize the best in themselves by knowing what’s important to them, working to their strengths and focusing on what they have the ability to control. He provides counseling services for individuals, couples, groups, athletic teams and businesses from ages 9 through late adulthood.

Tony wrote a syndicated column, Psychology of Sports, which appeared in newspapers in West Virginia and Pennsylvania, Psychology of Sports. His articles focused on giving practical tips for coaches, athletes and parents on creating the right environment for peak performance. He also shares his knowledge as an analyst for WV MetroNews’ Statewide Sportsline radio talk show.

Tony serves as Past President of the West Virginia Licensed Professional Counselors Association and is the counseling representative to the West Virginia Board of Examiners in Counseling. He is a member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association.

Recognized by the West Virginia Board of Examiners in Counseling as an Approved Licensed Professional Supervisor (ALPS), Tony is available to provide clinical supervision to qualified counselors seeking West Virginia licensure.

Tony presently serves on the faculty of the West Virginia University Hypnosis Study Group (A component society of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.) Tony is also certified in Disaster Mental Health Services for the American Red Cross and is a Certified Clinical Addictions Counselor (CCAC). Additionally, he serves on the Monongalia County’s Truancy and Substance Abuse Task Forces.

Alison Leon

B. Alison Leon

MA, LPC, LSW, ALPS

Alison is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Social Worker (LSW) for the state of West Virginia and has been practicing counseling since 1988. She provides counseling services for children, adolescents and adults.

Alison currently serves on the board of directors for CASA for KIDS of Monongalia and Preston counties. Additionally, she serves on the Human Rights Committee for Monongalia County Youth Service Center, is a Vicariate Trainer for Wheeling-Charleston Diocese's Sexual Abuse Policy, and is a Reach to Recovery volunteer for The American Cancer Society.

Recognized by the West Virginia Board of Examiners in Counseling as an Approved Licensed Professional Supervisor (ALPS), Alison is available to provide clinical supervision to qualified counselors seeking West Virginia licensure.

Alison is a member of the West Virginia Counseling Association, the West Virginia Licensed Professional Counselor's Association, and the National Counseling Association.


Julianne McGinnis

MA, Licensed Psychologist

Julianne is a Licensed Psychologist for the state of West Virginia and has been practicing psychology since 1985. She provides counseling services for adolescents and adults.

Julianne performs counseling services for individuals and couples in a number of areas. She also provides psychological testing.
