After receiving a BA in Economics from the University of Connecticut, Laurel immersed herself in the beauty and culture of Spain for over a year teaching English as a second language.
Upon completion of her Masters in Counseling from West Virginia University in 1994 Laurel began to share her true passion for assisting people of all ages in their quest to realize their full potential. Incorporating text book and innovative counseling techniques, Laurel’s primary focus has always been to help others heal emotional pain by learning the art of living in the present moment and the forgiveness of themselves and others.
With a primary focus on depression, anxiety and grief disorders, Laurel continues to welcome all who seek to live a truly energetic and fulfilled life.
